Matthew Vaughn to direct Star Wars: Episode VII?

I have avoided this for a couple days but I felt I should post it after all.

The newest rumor on the rumor mill regarding the new Star Wars trilogy Disney is shoving down our throats is this... Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class) is in talks to direct Star Wars: Episode VII. If this is true it could potentially give good reason why he dropped out of the director's chair for X-Men: Days
