Anna Paquin joins X-Men: Days of Future Past; Ellen Page and Shawn Ashmore also on board

Director Bryan Singer confirmed via Twitter some more casting news regarding X-Men: Days of Future Past. We already have Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellan, and Patrick Stewart returning for cameos, but we now have Anna Paquin (Rogue), Ellen Page (Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat), and Shawn Ashmore (Bobby Drake/Iceman) on board for the First Class sequel.

More original X-Men actors approached to reprise roles

Seeing that the upcoming film X-Men: Days of Future Past has a time travel element it has been confirmed that we will see various versions of the characters. In fact, it has been confirmed that Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan will be back once again for an X-Men film and that Hugh Jackman is in negotiations to return as well.
