No Director's Cut for The Dark Knight Rises

Despite previous rumors that we were going to get an extended director's cut Blu-Ray for The Dark Knight Rises, with around 30min of extra footage, it has now been confirmed that we will not. Christopher Nolan doesn't seem one for director's cut releases and I guess he isn't about to start now.

I was looking forward to seeing Bane's origin story and whatever else was within that 30 minutes, but
