The release of the upcoming Carrie reboot starring Chloe Moretz and Julianne Moore has been shifted. While it was originally set to be released in March of this year MGM has decided to shift it to October 18, 2013. I guess they want to capitalize on the Halloween crowds rather than the Spring Break kids.

Hayley Atwell, who played Peggy Carter, confirmed she will not be returning for Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Rumors of a new female lead that will likely be Peggy's younger sister Sharon have been swirling around. Names like Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Anna Kendrick, and Felicity Jones have been thrown out there.

The list of potentials for the role of Peter Quill, also known as Star-Lord, in Guardians of the Galaxy has grown by at least one more person. Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Looper, The Dark Knight Rises) has been added to the mix. It is unclear if he has actually been offered the role or if he has been invited for a test, but it would be interesting to have him in the Marvel universe.

With the new year we have new Justice League rumors. These rumors include possible villains, an actual Justice League line-up, and possible cameos.

It was announced that Jay-Z is currently composing an original score for the upcoming adaptation of The Great Gatsby starring Leonardo DiCaprio. As you might know we originally were supposed to get The Great Gatsby last week for a Christmas release, but they delayed it until May 10th.
